Come and celebrate the Songs of Neil Young on the 26th of February with a grove of Brisbane songwriters. After his recent experience at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Alex Crook will kindle the evening until it is further fanned by Shane Mead (Toowoomba) with his folk rock tunes. Keeping the fire going is then Michael Gill with his piano-based project before East of Eden, fresh from supporting UK touring act Ryan Inglis, interprets the Godfather of Grunge beside his surf-folk, laidback originals. Alex Edwards will then warm the dark with a final testimony to Neil Young, having played at the Beetle Bar last year for both local band Cause in Affect's Divine Tour and Austrian rocker's Mother's Cake's Endless Space tour. With these five performers, you are invited to enjoy a concert which should spark the hearts of local music lovers and Neil Young fans alike.
